Generative medicine is an exciting new naturopathic specialty that aims to identify the body's self-healing processes and allow the physician to participate in partnership with them. This is achieved by applying the tools of systems biology and bioinformatics to the complex behaviors seen in both health and disease. This approach allows for safer and more individualized treatments of sickness and the enhancement and optimization of health and well-being. The Institute for Naturopathic Generative Medicine (INGM) is a medical specialty society affiliated with the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP). Are you a licensed naturopathic physician? Are you interested in personalized medicine? Fascinated by the possibilities of medical informatics? Intrigued by networks and systems approaches? Then INGM membership and certification was designed for you!

Membership

Full membership in the INGM is open to naturopathic physicians graduating from a Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME) approved school. Students of CNME approved schools can apply for a discounted student membership. Non-qualifying individuals can apply for Support member status.
